Sam is a solo female and experiential traveller who discovered that the best way to live, not exist, was to collect experiences. This can mean everything from everyday adventures in local places: a new cafe, getting lost down a side street, or trying a new activity - or bucket list experiences in far flung destinations. For example, she's been hot air ballooning over the Fairy Chimneys of Cappadocia and watched the Northern Lights dance in Norway. When she travels, her aim is always to experience local culture and life as far as possible. This way, she can better understand it and this is where the magic lies! Since becoming an experiential traveller and collector of experiences, Sam has been able to better manage her mental health and has seen improved happiness and wellbeing. Sam takes local transport, eats where locals eat and tries to engage in local activities rather than tourist trips. Sometimes, she'll collect luxury experiences but she's equally comfortable walking barefoot in nature. She started this blog due to popular demand, after she posted about a wonderfully-random New Year's Eve in Zanzibar on her Facebook and her friends kept asking her to write about what happened next. Soon, she was posting daily travel updates and getting requests for a blog and a book...and here we are.
